What Do You Mean

What Do You Mean

View as pictorial →

When you pass me by

Wagging your wobbly bottoms
And then stand nearby
Evoking in me funny symptoms,
What do you mean?

When you dress thus

As though the material was scarce
And walk as though you dance
Under the moon on a night of romance,
What do you mean?

When you raze your brows

And then with a thick pencil
Craft twisted lines like those
Of this lanky man, Ozil
What do you mean?

When you summon me

With your sleepy eyes
And when I come with you to be
You then repel me with coquettish cries,
What do you mean?

When I ask for your hand

And with quiverish lips you say "NO"!
Yet "YES, YES, YES", yells your heart
With an eager impulse to hear this and more,
What do you mean?

"All men are dogs", you say!

"Very true, for once", I say -
"Cause, like dogs, men are true and loyal"
"That's not what I mean", Mr. Royal
What do you mean?
