Allow humanity to evolve to its best self without sabotage in the name of aid and modernization. About modernization, also a word as poverty coined by the same subordinating minds and thrown about enough times that much of humanity considers it as vague as many lately consider moral decency. Sensationalized and bleed of all honesty as is the difference between right, fact and truth. (Sensational, isn't it?)
If all humanity needed was affluence, then indeed we are on the right track and my trend of thought is rather misleading but look around you and convince yourself once again that that is the solution we need.

Indeed the resources available are just enough and even more than just enough for humanity to live and grow unencumbered but not enough to satisfy the insatiable greed of the few that render themselves the 'godfather(s)' who having had a fair share or even more than enough, choose to reallocate what is left and are still not comfortable. How soon can innovation find us a world far away for them so the rest of humanity can thrive?
One can blame a lot of this to 'parochialism' and still have a valid argument. What is not evident is the avid desire for the godfathers to make everywhere look and function just like their artificially enhanced and recreated backyard. Pretty much like a toddler who is convinced that every toddler they know should have had bercha musli that morning they did have the same; only to learn as they grow that their life and how they live it is not necessary the same as that of everyone.
You cannot define beauty without diversity unless your reasoning tells you that man does fall off a production plant like any other bulk produced product from your well established factories and neither can one define respect without a clear understanding of the truth that we are each unique only to ourselves and no other. Heritage and culture are derived from the fact that humanity is diverse and we loose all these the moment we seek to see all humanity through the same lense and at the same focal point.
Many of those considered poor would say you have not taken time to understand what they really need or what they consider as wealth. Maybe what they need is not to be just like you or like you envision want them to be but rather the best version of themselves and that can only be seen by one of like mind, one who understands their lively hood the same way they do. The Masai in Masai mara like many others in Africa, the Amazonians, those in Asia to mention but a few may be considered poor or backwards yet to them heritage and culture is worth more that fiat money or affluence.
I know I have been misunderstood and that is very fine. Allow me to bring you up to speed; not wearing the garments you call clothes, putting shoes on, driving cars and living in painted mansions does not define us as under privileged. Privilege to some could be in so many other things that may never make sense to you just like most of your considerations hardly make any to us.
The wind that sail your yacht a shore could be the same drifting mine far away from the place I call home.
Sail your yacht and let the rest deal with what they have as we best know how. Unless we seek your help, we do not need it so thankyou for keeping to yourself and staying away from what belongs to us.
Most of us do not know you that well and as a matter of fact we do not need or seek to know you or about you and your agenda more than we already do. So stay put and satisfied; If and when we need you to pull some strings, you will be in the know. For now just do not pretend to be more concerned about us than we are about ourselves.
