Unlike any other, this road has everything great you know and have seen on any other great road; it is well paved, smooth in all seasons has breath taking scenery on either side at whatever time of the day that one can easily throw out a mat and have a great picnic, I have been told it is equipped with high speed wireless EV. Charge capability and it is water heated for the cold season with all this and more but just like a golden bridge hanging between two dead ends, this road starts from where you meet it to nowhere specific.
Perfect when described, even better in person, charming, great humour, mixes and mingles well with every character, fun to be around, absolutely amazing personality not to mention the looks, class, sense of style and enough bucks to leave comfortable for a long time without breaking a sweat. These we encounter and never remain the same.
Round as a ring all goes beautifully well for sometime until you learn that it has been along time going round the same circle. You dreaming of what could happen after this point. “If they have this at this point they can be all this and more.” You have all this in your mind but they are fine with what they are and change is no were near their line of sight.
The life is good without question, many wish they could only get to the point the two of you are at but only you can tell _that it is all just like a ring. Do you try to change them, how can you make them see the difference since then you will become the nagging one, the unsatisfied one, the ungrateful one.
You have put in your all, given everything you can till the awkward reality sinks in that you need not try as the next level you seek is not for everyone.
They are not hesitant to remind you that you mean the whole world to them and that every moment you spend together cannot be exchanged with anything in this lifetime and beyond. However, the status quo is beginning to drain you dry even though it is all bliss.
So often, society and the moral code is not at par with you casting the first stone for some of the progress you seek and doing so will raise more than just eyebrows. One contemplates giving society a break, drag this lot perfection to a defined end that can (in your opinion) give this beautiful road meaning and purpose but every try clearly proves “you are heading nowhere.”
“One more try” your inside always pleads. “maybe this time” you convince your self not withstanding that these ideas are appreciated only by you and you alone but the road for which you planning this long awesome drive, leads to nowhere.
Disturbing yet real, one would not let any go down this road at any cost but so often you have noticed many. Curious like you were expressing vivid interest in everything this road exhibits and you do wish they knew that the road they so wish to take, leads to nowhere.
Just like all roads and bridges, as long as there is no restrictions, someone will always want to know what is on the other side. Many can go as far as trespassing on those with clear signage stating ‘no way through.’
It has been c____learly stated that ‘difficult roads lead to great destinations’ but we try not risk our shock-absorbers and rather take on the beautiful, smooth all weather tuff that lead____s to nowhere..
Well, it is not a road unlessit leads somewhere thus the traffic. It is also clear that many will come, find out the truth, sadly turn back and leave. This in itself will create traffic which is reason for others to take the same road and the trend goes on. Even the clear signs of ageing cannot hinder them that love the marvel along this road that leads to nowhere.
Such should not exist among us but then society and diversity dictate these terms. Everyone may have a reason to urge this in expression of their unique understanding, frustrations and disappointment but who then gets to pay for all this experience on this road that leads to nowhere?
