What if?

When pushed in a corner, one's condemned to free their mind to deep thought.

Situation on the other hand opened my mind to rather desturbing phenomena.
"Why would a house wife blackmail her rich husband?"
Why did she marry him in the first place?
Simply put, why did she get into his life in the first place?

While i was standing out in the parking lot of one hotel in London, a lady drove and parked just in front of me. To my judgement she appeared old enough probably in her 40s to be the mother to a girl about 7 years old in the co-drivers  seat and a beautiful infant in the back seat.

Like she said, there mother had been hospitalised and her siblings and her needed financial assisstance.

For a moment I really had the urge to help till she stated that she was willing to take me to the ATM in the event i needed to make a withdrawal.

It was like someone suddenly turned on a light on the inside of me.

On the instant, i had a thousand what ifs  running through  my head.
What happens on the event that i got into her car that she claimed assult, robbery or any other convicting act.

I've learned that the law mainly provides innocent and clean ears to the woman first. Every other testament/testimony is rather opinion and thus it's secondary.

This could have been a bornafide, needy person but what if?

I was drawn back to another what if;

A lady chooses to devorce her well to do husband with whom she's had two daughters. She is lucky to win over the custody of the children and a great portion of his blood and sweat which by law and familier opinion is well desurved.

To clear her mind off the past as well as usher in the new life, she chooses to rid the home of anything and everything that reminds her of him.

Throws afew parties and does alittle shopping.
All this not withstanding, has an effect not the best on her bottom line.
Responsibility and the weight of running a home then knocks at the front door and as usual, its easy to manage before the loot runs out.

Her ex-husband on the other hand, made the figures count in the beginning so pilling them up again may not be as deficult as her quest for another person with the love and commitment to her and the rest of her responsibilities.

Guess what, for anybody on the move, crossroads do show up irrespective of the direction one does take but how about one that checks your reality?

At that point she learns her lesson, He moved on probably found another, he is happy wherever and she on the other hand needs a hand to feed her sturving children she cannot stand the sight of them in this state and maybe child support is not as handy as she may have calculated. Just as the wind settles she is left the choice of seeking help from anybody even to the point of playing the wrong cards.

Its never wrong to read through the vows we make to each other, how i wish we'd include a clause that talks about devorce and everything that comes along with it.

When probing for the papers and asking the other party to sign, wish we could take a moment off to breath and meditate upon  the 'for batter, for worse. In sickness and in Health, till Death do us apart.' clause that everyone confortably recites in the moment but probably forgets immediatly.

Back to what if;
