What would go wrong if a country found sustainable means of subsistence, closed down her borders to all forms of trade and out flow for atleast six months?
What would be the reaction of the rest of the world when the same country determines not to accept nor seek aid (and ‘the strings attached’) but rather seek means of addressing the issues concerning trade, growth and infrastructure herself her own way?
What could go wrong if a country claimed to be cursed by her resources purposed to use them right?
Without the ‘help’ of many who have labelled her cursed yet pride in her extortion and exploitation.
Are we thinking alike?
Impossible!
What is trade if you trade with the wealthy but remain the same yet they don’t?
Why trade your soul to one that defines you as cursed, an out law? To one who simply does you favours and nothing solid yet almost all their livelihood depends on you.
Why continue to feast with the very one that undermines your sovereignty?
The very reason you are
I know the consequences of a forced national shutdown call it an embargo or a blockade. But I also know the results of determination to actively change the status quo.
Choosing to close one's eyes now for an independent, sovereign, wealthy and healthy tomorrow.
Yes, we can close our eyes.
Yes, we can rebuild from scratch.
Yes, we can still be sovereign as a nation.
Yes, we have all we need. Only greed makes us think we need more.
Africa, Rich Africa endowed with every mineral resource and potential yet utilises only a little or none of what it has got.
Africa, pretty much of the resource you have is depleting so fast and you are still lying there comfortable with the status quo.
Whoever is pampering you now is not going to look at you the same way when you have nothing left to offer. Look back Africa, look back (since 1618) then you shall know the truth.
We believe in moving forward but unless we push forward the African way we are doomed.
Everyone that has grown did not do it like anyone before them did it. Africa, you cannot grow like America or Europe did 800 years ago.
The dynamics have changed
The ground is not levelled.
Africa, you are known for being radical. Until you embrace your radical self you are not going beyond the whims and deceit that is eating you up from the inside.
Until you use the only thing you have for your own benefit you are going no where. This game has never and will never be in your favour unless you embrace yourself as you. Rich, gifted, beautiful, bountiful, younger, strong, energetic, we can go on and on.
No one again I say NO ONE be it a country, organisation, continent, name it does invest where they do not benefit at a margin. Wake up precious Africa, open your eyes to the truth.
You are chocking in debt and unless you wake up, there is no way out. Funny enough, there is someone still willing to get you more indebted with full knowledge that you are struggling with arrears.
You are selling your soul yet your brother has the solution to your problem. Africa, put your pride aside. Your brother has all the solutions to your problems. The African solution is within the coasts of the African continent.
Ignorance is no defence.
You have been deceived to the point that you do not trust yourself or your brother.
You find yourself so inadequate to the point that you let someone else define what you own better than you. She has named your wildlife, your nature given them her names like you did not address them before her, as though the water bodies did not exist before her, could it be that the mountains where valleys before she showed up or maybe invisible until someone showed up and told you the animal is a zebra having seen it for the first time. Guess it had no name.
Do you think that someone will build your home, clean you up, show you how to make it and then leave you at it without intention?
Who is going to do that for you any way?
Look within you Africa, how much of the arms you are using to take the lives if your brethren do you make yourself. With no haste and a grin, you silence your own at the command of an out sider. Some times for small pennies that condemn you further into despair.

Everybody needs attention.
And yes, you have quite some attention lately. Do you like what they call you?
Its attention you wanted, now you got it. Do you like the bits of you that have been hung out to dry? Everyone has skeletons but you gladly let yours out expecting sympathy. You have gotten ridiculed and Africa, you deserve it. Yes, you do.
Don't you think you are loosing yourself in this process? You are strapped in tight on the surgical table like a lab rat smiling as bits of your true identity are falling off you. Wake up Africa, know that ‘some' of those bits may grow back but the scars and the experience will remain for a life time.
Africa, you are not an experiment, you are beautiful, you are rich, you have everything they have run out of, you run this world and the day you wake up to that fact will be the day you shall be in their tabloids for only the right reasons.
There is no shake or change that is seconded by everyone.
So many especially those with power and access will not like the idea but how far has wealth in the hands of a few taken mama Africa?
You are so unique that you cannot hide from any one, your race will never get extinct but will it ever get accepted?
Why are you seeking acceptance from those that do not seek the same from you?
How long Africa, for how long are you going to keep expecting and leaving off aid? Even the failures among many refer to you Africa as a failure.
You may deny but you yes you reader, you know the truth.
The help is NOT coming.
Wipe your tears, clean your wounds, mark your scars and get to work.
you are the Africa you want to see wake up. She will not get beyond this unless you do wake up.
Denouncing her and choosing to leave elsewhere does take away the fact that you are African.
Prospering elsewhere while our brethren are the way they are does not make you any different.
We can only rise as high as our kindred.
When they mention African, we all know that our innermost person is tickled. Not because we are born there but because WE ARE African.
Wakeup!
